Anthurium Red
₹450.00 – ₹699.00
Anthurium plants is one of the most sorted indoor plants, for its striking waxy red spathes with an upright tail like formation protruding upwards and broad and shiny leaves. The spathes come in several colors such as pink-white stripped, brown and others, although the most commonly available anthuriums are with red spathes. The spathes generally take a long time to bloom but are also one of the long lasting flowers. While the plant looks strikingly beautiful for center table tops or in the corners of a living room set-up, it is also an ideal décor for commercial spaces such as hotels and office corridors under well lit conditions. This plant package includes hydroponic anthurium bulbs, which can continue to thrive in water or can also be re-potted by using an appropriate potting soil. For indoor plant lovers looking for absolutely easy maintenance and distinctively beautiful looking house plants, then Anthurium bulbs with hydroponic pots are ideal.

Place them in a warm, humid spot with bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, cold drafts, and AC vents. Filter strong light with curtains if needed. If you do not receive good light at home, consider purchasing artificial LED grow lights. Growing anthuriums under artificial light can be a great solution. |
Soil | If soil media is used, then a coarse and well-drained soil mix, serves well for Anthuriums. Mix of sand, pebbles and peat moss along with potting soil in correct proportion, should be an ideal mix. Soil should remain moist but not wet, which is likely to lead to root rotting and an eventual yellowing of leaves. This plant also grows well just in water, however supplement feeding will be required more frequently. Using liquid fertilizer once a month should give good results. |
Watering
requirements |
Anthuriums love moisture and hence the soil should be kept humid and moist and do not allow it to dry out completely. Hence frequent misting is essential. However, do not over water. Let the top inch of soil to dry out before watering. If you have decided to continue to grow the plant in hydroponic form, timely replacement of water and removal of algae from the container will be important to avoid root rotting. |
