Wandering Jew

229.00

Tradescantia or Wandering Jew also called as inch plant, are great house plants because of their fast and wide spreading feature, good looks, absolutely low maintenance requirements and most importantly, they are difficult to kill plants.  The Tradescantia genus comes in nearly 75 varieties that differ in color, shape and design patterns. The plant reflects bold color patterns in shiny silvery stripes, violet and light and dark green color combinations, that gives it a distinguishing look. The plant is perennial and grows well indoor as well as in outdoor conditions and in soil as well as hydroponic medium. The color of the leaves directly depends on the level of exposure to sun. Greater the sun exposure, darker will be the color of leaves in shades of purple.  It is extremely easy to propagate the Wandering Jew plants and spreads super fast. You can give it the trajectory you want. A lush Tradescantia foliage at side wall boundary, or along the railing boundary of staircase or in hanging planters are ideal placements for the plant. The plant also takes a fast growth trajectory in water based propagation stations.

PLANT TYPE

Sapling

A sapling is a young plant and will come in a smaller size. Why take a sapling? While it is wonderful to watch your little sapling grow, multiply and produce plantlets, take different color variations and forms till it fully matures, some of the saplings require extra care before it hardens and is full grown. While some others are absolutely hands free. If you are ready to give it all the care and love to admire the comparative growth patterns across plants, we suggest you go for a sapling.

Aged

An aged plant will come in a slightly bigger size than a sapling. While we say 'aged', it only means that once a sapling, is now a grown up and would require comparatively less attention than a sapling. If you have the anxiety about going wrong in the process or just cant wait to see a full grown foliage, we recomend you go for an aged plant. Ah ah !! dont get us wrong, age has no bar for plant, they are evergreen, have infinite growth potential and are renewable.
